Position Overview:

Fractal is looking for a proactive and driven Senior Consultant to join our Decision Science Consulting team in the Seattle, WA area. In this role, you will play a vital role as the client and team lead with hands-on involvement in project management, business interpretation and application of solutions, client communication, insights/results delivery. You will collaborate with your team and peers by developing resourcing plans, managing revenue goals, and contributing to new business development.

S/He will be expected to deliver an analytics engagement at client location independently. This will include problem solving, hypothesis testing, advanced analysis, creating models & solutions and compelling visualizations to make the solutions scalable and easily understood. The Senior Consultant will collaboratively work along with senior engagement managers & lead a team of analysts and data scientists across the globe.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive Strategic Insights: Apply strategic, operational and analytics standard processes to improve product features for business and influence cross functional partners to take actions to achieve business goals.

  • Analyze & Identify Opportunities: Drive analysis of key problems to identify the next big opportunity to improve customer experience and for Customers on the platform.

  • Define & Monitor Metrics: Build and develop KPIs to track the experience of users on the platform. You will be responsible for monitoring the metrics and understanding the root causes behind the metric’s movement.

  • Be Accountable: Define business objectives and measure progress in achieving results; demonstrate strong commitment towards goals and driving complex projects focused on improving engagement of product features, conversion of product funnel and eventually Business.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or equivalent experience in statistics, Quantitative Research, Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field; additional business degree is a plus

  • 3+ yrs. overall experience with at least 2+ years of hands-on experience in running data analytics projects and managing offshore-onsite business model

  • Skilled at SQL, Python, Tableau, Excel, PPT

  • Curiosity, Ownership, Creative problem-solving skills with a proven track of record in
    delivering results

  • Deep data analysis expertise with the ability to find the trends and implications within data to
    inform sound decisions

  • Proven ability to design analytical solutions to tackle complex business problems; and to
    partner with cross-functional peers to tailor those solutions for the greatest possible impact

  • Has strong analytical/data science skills to dive into data and identify root causes

  • Has strong background in statistics, A/B experimentation and other quantitative research
    methods

  • Leverages data effectively, Quickly and proactively to resolves issues

  • Takes ownership and delivers results

  • Strong business acumen and product sense to identify next big opportunities

  • Communicates clearly, effectively, and proactively with exceptional listening, written and
    verbal communication skills

Pay:

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.  The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  At Fractal, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $82,000 - $182,000. In addition, for the current performance period, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.

Benefits:

As a full-time employee of the company or as an hourly employee working more than 30 hours per week, you will be eligible to participate in the health, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability plans in accordance with the plan documents, which may be amended from time to time.  You will be eligible for benefits on the first day of employment with the Company.  In addition, you are eligible to participate in the Company 401(k) Plan after 30 days of employment, in accordance with the applicable plan terms.   The Company provides for 11 paid holidays and 12 weeks of Parental Leave. We also follow a “free time” PTO policy, allowing you the flexibility to take time needed for either sick time or vacation.
