The opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Senior Consultant in Data Engineering to help our clients navigate the complex world of data and analytics. We are a very international and diverse team enjoying each other’s company in the professional context as much as on social gatherings.

Your key responsibilities

As a Senior Consultant, you will be designing and implementing robust data pipelines and enabling advanced analytics capabilities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical specifications, creating scalable and sustainable data solutions. We operate in small functional teams where you will have responsibility from early on!

•    Design, build, and maintain efficient and reliable data pipelines.

•    Develop and optimize data models to support business analytics and intelligence.

•    Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver insights.

•    Mentor junior team members and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.

Skills and attributes for success

To qualify for the role you must have

•    Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

•    3+ years of experience in data engineering with a proven track record.

•    Proficiency in SQL, Python, and big data technologies (e.g. Spark).

•    Proficiency in ETL tools like Azure Data Factory, DBT or similar

•    Experience in one of the following Data Lakehouse / Data Warehouse solutions: Azure Synapse, Databricks, Snowflake.

•    Experience with cloud platforms building data lakes (MS Azure, AWS, …).

•    Good understanding of ETL/ELT processes, design patterns / frameworks, data modelling, and data architecture.

Ideally, you’ll also have

•    Enabling AI solutions through data engineering. I.e. data for LLMs, vector data bases

•    Data Streaming and Real-time data solution experience is a plus

•    Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and data science principles is a plus.
