About the Job

We’re looking for an experienced (Senior) Computer Vision/Machine Learning Engineer (m/f/d) to join one of our portfolio companies and build the boundaries of digitising the analog world.

In your day-to-day work, you’ll work on core computer vision and neural network components for our world-class mobile (Optical Character Recognition) OCR products.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Take ownership in organiszing, managing, generating and preparing data for the training and evaluation of our novel machine learning approaches.
  • Work closely with a cross-functional Engineering team consisting of; mobile engineers, cloud engineers, architects and domain specialists.
  • Collaborate with the Product team to understand the business needs of prospects and customers. Identify suitable solutions to meet those needs, and help define and drive the product vision.
  • Contribute to key development and architectural decisions through applying state-of-the-art design patterns and development methodologies.

Your Profile

  • 3+ years of industry experience and profound knowledge in Computer Vision and Machine Learning
  • Experience with modern neural network architectures, and the deployment and operation of machine learning systems (MLOps)
  • Proficient programming skills in Python, as well as hands-on experience with OpenCV, TensorFlow andNumpy
  • Strong sense of personal accountability and goal-orientation
  • Proactive attitude to push boundaries and go beyond your comfort zone
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English

Please note that we are looking for support in the Vienna office or remote within Austria of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
