Leidos is looking for a Senior AI/ML Engineer to join our Digital Modernization Accelerator team. In this role, you will collaborate with a diverse team of experts to design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge AI and machine learning solutions. Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and develop AI models, algorithms, and architectures to address business challenges.
- Implement and deploy AI solutions on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Utilize Docker or containerization for packaging and deploying AI applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI capabilities into products and systems.
- Optimize and fine-tune AI models for performance and scalability.
- Research and evaluate new AI technologies and frameworks.
- Translate customer requirements into technical solutions and features.
- Maintain technical documentation and reports.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 12+ years of engineering experience, which should include recent proven experience as an AI Engineer.
- Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and deploying AI solutions in the cloud.
- Solid understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, machine learning algorithms, and deep learning techniques.
- Knowledge of Docker or containerization for AI application deployment.
- Familiarity with RAG architecture is highly desirable.
- Experience in understanding and connecting technology solutions to customer needs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- US citizenship is required and able to obtain security clearance as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with MLOps best practices for deploying, monitoring, and managing AI models in production.
- Proven ability in solution architecture, designing scalable and resilient AI systems.
- Background in data engineering, including data pipelines, data transformation, and data warehousing.
- Familiarity with AI or data governance principles and practices.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $122,200.00 - $220,900.00
