We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Engineer & Solution Architect to join our team. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, sales acumen, and solution architecture skills. The ideal candidate will be able to understand customer requirements, articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner, and design solutions that meet both business and technical needs.
About the role:
- Technical Sales Support:
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and provide technical expertise throughout the sales process.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers, showcasing the technical capabilities and benefits of our solutions.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals, RFP responses, information security responses, and technical documentation.
- Solution Architecture and Customer Success:
- Work closely with customers to understand their business goals and technical requirements.
- Design end-to-end solutions that address customer challenges and align with their business objectives.
- Create detailed solution architectures, including system diagrams, specifications, and implementation plans.
- Quickly onboard and orient to new codebases and systems
- Provide timely, high-quality technical support in responding to customer inquiries
- Diagnose and debug customer problems across software, integrations, and infrastructure
- Build strong customer relationships and promote retention and expansion
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor and technical point of contact.
- Provide post-sales support, including solution implementation guidance, troubleshooting, and ongoing technical assistance.
- Product Feedback and Development:
- Gather customer feedback and insights to inform product development and enhancement initiatives.
- Collaborate with the product management and engineering teams to relay customer requirements and contribute to product roadmap planning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in a technical sales or sales engineering role, preferably in data/AI.
- Strong understanding of enterprise software solutions, cloud computing, networking, and cybersecurity principles.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience in solution architecture and design, including proficiency in tools such as Visio or Lucidchart.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and startup experience are highly valued. Such as having been a founder or technical leader at an early-stage company
