About us:Daedalean is a Zürich-based startup founded by experienced engineers who want to completely revolutionize air travel within the next decade. We combine computer vision, deep learning, and robotics to develop full “level-5” autonomy for flying vehicles. Your role:In collaboration with our team of engineers, machine learning researchers and certification experts, participate in the development and verification of the first machine learning-based avionics.
What you will do:
Implement, run, and analyse Monte Carlo simulations on billions of data points.
Design and implement software to analyse dynamical systems and their filtering.
Interface with production hardware and software.
Optimize and deploy code so that it can be run on a large scale.
Document the result of analyses.
Participate in the development and maintenance of our software for the analysis of machine learning models, system performance, flight recording processing, and more.
Preferred qualifications:
Proven engineering and research skills.
Experience with the Rust programming language.
Good technical writing skills.
Knowledge of statistics and data analysis.
Familiarity with machine learning and/or robotics.
Familiarity with Kubernetes.
