The Opportunity

As part of our high velocity and talented AI research team, you will assist in building innovative Applied Computer Vision and Enterprise AI solutions to solve critical public sector problems. Your role will involve maintaining common data ingestion and model development pipelines with strong attention to detail and testing methods. You will be deploying cutting-edge AI algorithms into production. You will also be building and maintaining efficient pipeline tooling. You will have the ability to make a significant impact on the company and the AI space as a whole.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with our senior engineers to improve our object detection, segmentation, tracking, visual search and develop new products.
  • Help the team deploy production ready models to customers. We anticipate that customers will have steady feedback for us on the models, so we should be focusing on using that feedback to make frequent model improvements.
  • Help maintain our research ML infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with the research team, and make sure solutions worked out by our research team are production ready. 

Impact

You’ll join our Research Team and help our team drive customer acquisition and revenue growth. You value collaboration and want to work closely with others in the company, including research, backend, infrastructure, product, frontend, and design. You’ll help build and maintain our customer models and visual search technology. You have the ability to make a significant impact on the company and the AI space as a whole.

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience working with Python, with a focus on Machine Learning or Computer Vision (PyTorch/Tensorflow).
  • Have a strong MLDevOps philosophy and experience with associated tooling (Git, CI/CD, Kubeflow, Hydra).
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Must be comfortable working in a shell environment.
  • Experience working with complex existing codebases.

Great to Have

  • Experience in object detection and tracking. 
  • Experience with model export (Torchscript, TensorRT) 

The salary hiring range for this position is $125,000 - $175,000 and flexible depending on relevant experience.
