This is a fantastic chance to join a fast growing team as we launch.  We’re looking for a motivated, entry level QA Test Engineer to join the Medialake AI team. You will be working closely with the front and backend teams to develop a suite of automated and manual test plans to enhance and maintain the quality of the medialake application.  We pride ourselves on providing great career opportunities so the right candidate will be able to grow alongside the company’s evolution

The successful candidate should be hands on, a self-starter able to work independently and part of the broader team. The position presents an opportunity to be involved and grow in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, working alongside senior engineers. Working with the entire technical team, you’ll be spanning the following responsibilities and technologies.

Requirements

• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Estimate, prioritise, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
• Monitor debugging process results
• Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
• Stay up to date with new testing tools and strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge of PHP and Javascript
• Experience of writing automated test
• Experience of GIT or other VC
