About the team/About the job
We are looking for a passionate and proactive Product Manager with a strong focus on data products to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge base of Snowflake, Tableau, SQL, and Python, with nice-to-have experience in Keboola, Spark, and Google Cloud. You will be in charge of working with stakeholders to deliver value through data products such as reports, models, and applications, managing a backlog with a team of engineers, and deciding the structure of data products for our entire company.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into data product requirements.
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with a team of engineers to ensure work is aligned with strategic goals.
- Decide on the structure of data products and lead the strategic planning for the entire company's data product portfolio.
- Coordinate the migration of data infrastructure to a different cloud, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions.
- Develop product roadmaps and timelines, and manage the delivery of features and enhancements.
- Facilitate communication across different teams and stakeholders to align objectives and ensure everyone is on the same page.
We are looking for people who
- Have Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role in a technology or data-focused field.
- Experience in Snowflake, SQL, Python, and Tableau is a plus.
- Experience in Keboola, Spark, and Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strong decision-making skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and managing product backlogs.
