We are seeking a driven and passionate Product Manager to join our AI Innovation Lab and play a crucial role in our Marketing Operations team. You will be responsible for developing and implementing AI-powered solutions to optimise and increase marketing efficiency and impact. Your work will empower our marketing team to make data-driven decisions, ultimately enhancing campaign performance and customer engagement.

This role will be based remotely in the United States. 

Our ideal candidate will have

  • 5+ years of product management or equivalent experience with a sophisticated technical product
  • A passion for leveraging AI to solve complex problems
  • Experience with marketing operations, marketing technology and understanding of key marketing metrics
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate across disciplines to create innovative solutions
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members, stakeholders, and customers
  • Curiosity to ask the right questions and a drive to find the best answers to make informed decisions

Position Expectations

  • Drive the vision and strategy for AI-driven marketing operations solutions, setting and achieving business goals and success metrics
  • Collaborate with developers, marketers and engineering leaders to align your plans with our strategic marketing goals
  • Use customer insights, research, and usage data to identify and prioritize product opportunities
  • Define and communicate a roadmap of features to deliver AI-based marketing solutions
  • Manage the backlog of user stories, ensuring they are complete and prioritized correctly
  • Collaborate with engineers and designers as work progresses, making decisions on product behaviour to unblock the engineering process
  • Participate in key engineering ceremonies, acting as the voice of the customer to the team
  • Verify features to ensure they meet specifications and determine when the product is ready for release

Success Measures

The Product Manager will be successful in this role when they can execute the following strategic tasks/responsibilities:

30 Day:

  • Understand the current vision and roadmap for AI-driven marketing operations solutions
  • Contribute to product and design discussions
  • Verify features and provide feedback to the engineering team
  • Forge a successful partnership with your manager, peers, and team

60 Day:

  • Lead stakeholder calls to solicit input and share the product roadmap
  • Document, prioritize, and refine user stories
  • Make product trade-off decisions balancing scope and schedule constraints
  • Ship new features to stakeholders and enablement for successful usage
  • Communicate the product status and roadmap to internal stakeholders

90 Day and beyond:

  • Identify new strategic opportunities for AI-driven marketing solutions
  • Write scope documents for new projects and gain support from stakeholders and peer teams
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders and maintain product portfolio as required to meet evolving business needs
  • Positively influence key metrics, such as usage, growth, and revenue

Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package.
