Oracle has formed a new organization - Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure (OHAI), dedicated to product strategy and development for improvement of healthcare using modern cloud native technology build on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
One of the focus areas of OHAI is to modernize, improve and reimagine Millennium healthcare platform using AI/ML, specifically generative AI.
Millennium applications team in OHAI is responsible for reimagining, conceiving, and enhancing clinical applications using OCI’s cloud native AI/ML infrastructure for patients and clinicians.

Millennium application team is using generative AI and other AI/ML capabilities such as semantic search and RAG, voice assisted navigation and dictation, text generation, summation to develop next generation of health care clinical applications using cloud native AI services to provide superior patient and clinician experience. Our platform strives to provides consistent customer experience across applications while providing mission critical functions ranging from patient prescriptions to surgery rooms to our customers across the globe. What?We are seeking hands-on Senior Member of Technical Staff Engineers that share our passion and excitement of operating distributed systems at hyper scale using cloud native best practices. You will have part in the disruption of the health care industry and will help deliver better patient care. As a SMTS engineer in our team, you’ll be responsible and lead efforts in designing and building scalable, distributed, and resilient software components and services to build ML platform, data pipelines, search infrastructure and clinical applications. We believe in ownership and expect you to think long term, mentor, and empower other engineers. As a tech lead you will Proven complete SDLC from architecture, development, testing, first class monitoring, to production.
Minimum Qualifications
· BS or MS degree in computer science, or equivalent
· 6+ years of developing and shipping enterprise distributed and/or cloud native systems
· Strong grasp of system design fundamentals and distributed systems architectural best practices
· Proven ability to write code in Java, Python, or similar OO languages.
· Experience with web application development using microservices frameworks such as Helidon, DropWizard, Spring, etc. Experience with building data pipelines, messaging and, scalable streaming services preferred.
· Experience with containers and container orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, Docker)
· Strong desire to make an impact and thrive in collaborative and energetic environment.
· Experience with Cloud Engineering Infrastructure Development
· Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts verbally and through design.
· Experience with deploying ML models and monitoring tools is desirable.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
