What you will do
Are you passionate about using machine learning to shape the future of healthcare? We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join our dynamic team! The Decision Sciences team at Amgen plays a pivotal role as a strategic partner to Commercial leadership, offering data-backed insights crucial for driving commercial success.
In this role, you will work closely with data scientists to develop and deploy cutting-edge machine learning algorithms by creating scalable frameworks, state-of-the-art tools, and efficient code. You will assist in the design and architecture of machine learning systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate these solutions into production environments. Your focus will be on ensuring timely delivery and learning new toolsets and coding packages to stay current in the field.
As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will play an active role in the tactical execution of machine learning projects, from ideation and prototyping to deployment and maintenance. You'll stay updated with technological advancements, ensuring our approaches are both innovative and effective. Your technical skills will be crucial in optimizing code for efficiency and scalability, and your ability to communicate complex concepts will help bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders. With a strong understanding of healthcare data, you will help ensure our solutions are impactful and fit for purpose.
