Description


Apple's Video Computer Vision (VCV) Face and Body technologies team is looking for a skilled Machine Learning Data Pipeline Software Engineer with experience working on automated data processing pipelines at scale. You will work closely with Infrastructure as well as Machine Learning Engineers in a small and dynamic team to develop and scale up solutions to 3D reconstruction, synthetic data and photogrammetry problems for spatial computing applications. In this role, you will perform research and development work to design, implement, benchmark, optimize and distribute large scale datasets for ambitious computer graphics and computer vision projects for Apple Vision Pro.

Minimum Qualifications


  • 3+ years of production experience in pipeline development for synthetic data, feature films, games or VFX with a track record of successful projects
  • Strong proficiency in Python, writing clean and well structured code
  • Experience working in distributed data processing
  • Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
  • Passion for delivering high quality software to end-users
  • Self-motivated with proven ability to effectively prioritize and deliver tasks on schedule
  • Excellent communication and experience working with cross-functional teams
  • BS degree


Preferred Qualifications


  • MS or PhD in computer vision, machine learning, computer science, computer engineering or related fields


Pay & Benefits


  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
