Mytra is looking for an experienced IT/Network Engineer to help support our current locations, and assist in scaling new commercial and internal sites. In this role you will work across many functions of IT and Networking, executing tasks from IT logistics to Network Security. This person will work cross functionally and have the opportunity to travel to different locations. You'll contribute to the long term success of Mytra by supporting and scaling our IT/Network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain new and existing site networking deployments including cabling and wireless infrastructure
  • Collaborate with Mytra’s key robotics, warehousing, and AI teams to support their needs
  • Plan and execute for high availability of networking systems on-device and infrastructure
  • Focus on security architecture
  • Deploy monitoring, metrics, and alerting services
  • Build automated processes for quick recovery and diagnosis
  • Push for a first-principals approach to evaluation new solutions
  • Maintain simple easy to follow documentation and recovery procedures
  • Work occasional weekends, after hours, and holidays as needed
  • Participate in an on-call rotation
  • Travel as necessary to support site deployments

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in mid-to-large global enterprise networking infrastructure
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Networking, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of five years' experience with desktop (Windows, macOS, & Linux), infrastructure, network, and software support
  • Experience designing and managing mid-to-large scale networks in a global environment
  • Proficiency with major industry firewalls and switches
  • Extensive experience in IP networking, L2/L3 network protocols (e.g., spanning-tree, OSPF, BGP), TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, end-to-end QoS, VLAN, VRRP, LACP, MC-LAG, EVPN with VXLAN, ACL, and infrastructure cabling
  • Experience with tools such as protocol analyzers, SNMP, flow, IPAM, RADIUS, Splunk, network taps, and load/stress testing
  • Ability to develop scripts to automate infrastructure deployment and collect metrics in a heavy UNIX-based environment
  • CCNP or JNCIP Certifications are a plus
  • Support experience with IPSec, SD-WAN, fiber, coaxial, and cellular modem networks, including logging level 1 technical support tickets with service providers
  • Excellent understanding of networking components and technologies, including routers, firewalls, switches, access points, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, ARP, OSI model
  • Experience in supporting Apple and Android mobile devices along with Intune MDM
  • UNIX-shell scripting and Python experience is a plus
