The Fraunhofer Institute for High Frequency Physics and Radar Techniques FHR in Wachtberg near Bonn is one of the leading radar research institutes in Europe with one of the world’s most powerful space observation radar.
The Signal Processing and Algorithms research department is part of the “Industrial High-Frequency Systems” (IHS) business unit and focuses on modern signal processing and AI-methods for imaging, parameter estimation and object classification along with approaches for sensor data fusion, tracking and control in the field industrial radar applications including medical, air and ground mobility, and production processes.
What you will do
Your tasks will depend on your knowledge and interests, and the application fields in our department - but will ensure that you gain hands-on experience in research projects with well-known academic and industrial partners.

What you can expect
Remuneration according to the general works agreement for employing assistant staff.
The position is temporary and is initially limited to 6 months. An extension is explicitly desired.
The weekly working hours will be agreed upon individually.
