JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Applied Research Laboratory’s Geospatial and Imaging Division is searching for its Imaging Science and Computer Vision Department Head! We are looking for leaders in the areas of Engineering and Science who are excited about leading multidisciplinary teams and research efforts in a fast paced environment, while also help mentor and develop personnel in this problematic field that has applications in defense, law enforcement, security, disaster relief, human geography, disaster preparedness, and first response. This position may be filled as either a Research and Development Engineer or a non-tenure Research Faculty.

This position can be filled as a level 3, level 4, or level 5, depending on your education and experience. Minimally requires a Bachelors’ degree in an Engineering or Science discipline plus 5 years’ related experience for a level 3. Additional education and/or experience are required for higher level positions. A Masters’ degree or higher is preferred.

The pay range for this position, including all possible grades is:
$80,508.00 - $237,192.00Salary Structure - additional information on Penn State's job and salary structure.
