Join the weeding revolution! In this role, your primary engagement will be to train Carbon's vehicles using Object Detection and Deep Learning.

As a Deep Learning Engineer at Carbon Robotics, you will be at the forefront of training Carbon's advanced vehicles using Object Detection and Deep Learning technologies. Your contributions will directly impact the development of our innovative line of laser weeders, addressing critical challenges in our food supply chain.

Are you ready to help design our line of laserweeders that solve real problems in our food supply?

What you’ll do:

• Design experiments to test new models and algorithms, optimize them for daily deployments to operational resources in the field, document and produce reports on your findings, and integrate them with our robotics software stack.
• Build quickly through ownership and collaboration with Engineering and Product Management

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities for Success:

• Worked as a Deep Learning Engineer or Data Scientist develop and executing computer vision deep learning model design and experimentation using Python and/or C++ for 2+ year( For Senior, 5+yrs)
• Implement model improvements in training code (Python) and/or robotics execution environment (C++)
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to explain model details and behavior to non-technical staff and customers 
• Work with product leads to define achievable tasks for ML models
• Experience in Deep learning model optimization and deployment.
• BS+ in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field - software engineering background are strongly preferred.
