10Job Title: Data Science / Machine Learning Engineer
Job Description:
We are looking for a seasoned Machine Learning Engineer specialized in Large Language Models (LLMs) to drive the development and deployment of cutting-edge AI solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in deep learning and NLP, specifically with advanced models such as GPT-3, BERT, Transformer architectures, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) models. This role demands a high level of proficiency in managing the full lifecycle of model development on AWS, from building and training models using Amazon SageMaker, to deploying and hosting them on platforms like Bedrock, and maintaining applications in SageMaker Studio.
Responsibilities:
Design, build, and optimize state-of-the-art large language models and retrieval-augmented generation models for innovative product applications.
Architect and manage robust machine learning pipelines and workflows using CI/CD practices, primarily utilizing Terraform.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists and product managers to align machine learning solutions with business objectives.
Conduct ongoing research to stay ahead of the curve in machine learning technologies and implement forward-thinking NLP techniques.
Ensure the stability and efficiency of machine learning models by leveraging Bedrock for hosting and managing deployed models.
Develop data pipelines and architectures to ETL data from various sources
Encapsulate ML model(s) into a Webservice(s)
Implement big data storage solutions like data lakes and data warehouses
Automate data processing & model management and deployment tasks using scripting and programming languages
Ensure data & model quality, security, and compliance throughout the development lifecycle
Research and implement new big data & modeling technologies and methodologies to improve data & model management
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of technical experience and 3 years of experience specifically in data science and machine learning.
Demonstrated expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and NLP, with a strong portfolio in large language models like GPT-3, BERT, and RAG.
Advanced proficiency in Python, with hands-on experience in ML libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
Extensive experience with AWS cloud services, specifically in deploying and managing applications and models using Amazon SageMaker and SageMaker Studio.
Proven ability in using Terraform for automating deployments and managing infrastructure as code within AWS environments.
Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud native computing
Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, Scala, C#, SQL
Expertise in big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and NoSQL databases
Knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and teamwork skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
Nice to Have:
Postgraduate Certification in AI/ML.
Postgraduate Certification in DataScience
Certification in MLOps from AWS.
