What you’ll achieve
As a Data Science Engineer, you will be responsible for contributing to business strategy and influence decision making based on information gained from deep dive analysis. You will produce actionable and compelling recommendations by interpreting insights from complex data sets. You will design processes to consolidate and examine unstructured data to generate actionable insights. You will also partner with business leaders, engineers and industry experts to construct predictive models, algorithms and probability engines.

You will:

  • Solve business and customer issues utilizing AI/ML

  • Build prototypes and scalable AI/ML solutions that will be integrated into software products

  • Collaborate with software engineers, business stakeholders and product owners in an Agile environment

  • Have complete ownership of model outcomes and drive continuous improvement

Essential Requirements

  • 8 to 11 years of experience in a related role or equivalent skill/education; must include deep knowledge of data science principles.

  • Strong coding skills in Python and SQL and machine Learning knowledge (Deep learning, NLP, Classification, Forecasting, Regression, GenAI etc. on large datasets) with experience in ML model deployment 

  • Ability to work with internal stakeholders to transfer business questions into quantitative problem statements

  • Ability to effectively communicate data science progress to non-technical internal stakeholders and ability to lead a team of data scientists is a plus

Desirable Requirements

  • Master's or PhD in a quantitative discipline.

  • Ability to act as a coach to the team and strong product/technology/industry knowledge

Compensation
Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is
$136,850 - $177,100.
