Spearhead transformative initiatives leveraging data and advanced analytics to drive strategic business outcomes. Uses scientific methods and technologies to analyse data, obtain knowledge and insights from the data and develop models and solutions that deliver value to the business. Creates cognitive services involving complex algorithms that collect data in a wide range of formats to automate processes, recommend actions and take decisions that help achieve a goal. Takes and processes data from various sources to analyse it and provide value through insights, reporting and data visualization techniques. Works with other Information Management & Analysis professionals, the program team, management, and stakeholders to design and build analytics solutions in a way that will deliver business value. Leverages data to improve our products and services, drive investment decisions, increase customer satisfaction and support business change and adoption.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for data and advanced analytics initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Drive innovation and continuous improvement through the adoption of new methods, services/products, and technologies.

  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the development and delivery of functional strategy and plans, ensuring alignment with business priorities. Manage the operational budget and performance of enterprise data products, overseeing largescale implementation through data engineering, data scientist, and data architectural leaders.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of 25 senior technical resources, serving as a technical/professional thought leader. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning, providing guidance and development opportunities to maximize team performance.

  • Technology Expertise: Utilize computational thinking and expertise in technologies including R, Python, SQL, PySpark, and Azure based platforms to architect scalable data analytics infrastructure and develop innovative solutions in data visualization, deep leaning, Machine learning, vector algebra, natural language processing, AI tools and platforms, Data wrangling. Leverage data insights to enhance operational efficiency, uncover insights, and drive cost savings across various business functions.

  • Strategic Partnerships: Forge strategic partnerships with internal stakeholders and external vendors to drive collaborative initiatives and accelerate innovation in data and advanced analytics.

  • Collaboration: Relationship-building, instilling client trust, and delivering value. Possess impactful communication skills and digital fluency, navigating diverse landscapes with ease. Demonstrate emotional agility, thriving in hybrid collaboration environments. Show commercial astuteness, drive strategic decisions and lead teams to excellence. Adaptable to change, negotiate effectively and influence positive outcomes for organizational growth.

  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to privacy regulations, data governance policies, and industry best practices in all data and analytics initiatives. Collaborate with legal, compliance, and information security teams to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory compliance.

  • Business Impact: Demonstrate the business impact of data and advanced analytics initiatives through measurable metrics, including cost savings, revenue generation, and enhanced operational efficiency. Effectively communicate insights to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Advanced Degree: Hold advanced degrees in business administration, computer engineering, or related fields, providing a strong foundation in both technical and business domains.

  • Experience: Possess over 20 years of experience in data and advanced analytics, with a track record of leading transformative initiatives and delivering measurable business outcomes.

  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead large cross functional teams, forge strategic partnerships, and drive innovation in data driven decision making processes.

  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in technologies such as R, Python, SQL, PySpark, Azure Synapse, and machine learning frameworks. Experience in cloud architecture, data governance, and deep learning techniques is highly desirable.

  •  Strategic Vision: Ability to develop and articulate a strategic vision for data and advanced analytics initiatives, aligning with organizational objectives and driving innovation.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and actionable insights for stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
