In this role you will

  • Apply machine learning and AI methods to biological sequence (DNA, RNA, protein) data from large-scale human genetic, functional genomic and single cell experiments.
  • Ship high performing AI/ML powered products in production environments.
  • Ensure that the code and services being shipped are stable, tested and performing as expected in an agile environment.

Basic Qualifications & Skills:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Graduate studies in Computer Science or Applied Mathematics.
  • Strong proficiency in Python.
  • Experience with PyTorch, Tensorflow, or other deep learning frameworks.
  • A solid foundation across the ML stack.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

Please note the following skills are not necessary, just preferred, if you do not have them, please still apply.

  • PhD in Computer Science or related field.
  • Knowledge of disease biology, molecular biology, and biochemistry.
  • Hands-on experience with biological data analysis (e.g., genomics, transcriptomics, epigenomics, proteomics).
  • Demonstrated understanding and application of best practices in Machine Learning.
  • Track record of contributing to open-source projects.
