We are looking for a hands-on embedded firmware engineer to design, develop and optimize low level embedded firmware for Intel's deep learning accelerators. In this role, you will work on cutting edge technologies, with a cross-geo team to design and develop top class embedded firmware for Intel's training/Inference accelerators (https://habana.ai/).
Qualifications:
BTech/MTech with at least 5+ years of relevant experience in Firmware development with following skills.
Bare metal firmware development experience
Understanding of reset vectors, interrupts, exceptions etc.
Strong expertise in C and assembly
Very good understanding of CPU architecture (ARC, ARM etc.)
Understanding of cache, cache controllers, cache associativity etc.
Understanding of Bus fabrics, clocks and clocking schemes, bus latencies etc.
Low level hardware programming e.g. DMA controllers, memory controllers etc.
Implementation of synchronization primitives e.g. mutex, semaphore, atomic registers etc.
Very good analytical and problem-solving skills, stakeholder management and cross-geo collaboration skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills and be able to clearly communicate concepts to peers and stake holders
Knowledge / experience in deep learning related FW is a big plus.
