What you’ll do

We are looking for a team-oriented and results-driven Artificial Intelligence Data Engineer / Data Scientist (Associate) (f/m/d), who likes to develop, implement or apply data models or data mining algorithms to identify and solve business problems. 
 

As an AI Data Engineer / Data Scientist (Associate) (f/m/d) within the Sustainability Engineering team you will:

  • Work in agile development environment which requires the individual to be self-driven, take decisions independently as well as be flexible 
  • Collaborate intensively with colleagues inside and outside of your teams 
  • Be responsible for development and management of data-related topics.
  • Support machine learning research/project teams with all aspects around data
  • Build scalable and re-usable data processing pipelines
  • Work on data generators in order to enrich our datasets
  • Work with domain experts and AI Scientists to define annotation guidelines and drive the annotation efforts towards high-quality data
  • Coordinate & support data auditing efforts as well as data acquisition activities

What you bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research or related field 
  • Solid foundations in Computer Science, with strong competencies in algorithms, data structures, design patterns, and software design principles 
  • Solves problems using at least one server-side programming language such as Java, Scala, Python, C#, C++
  • Ability to work in an international, agile product development environment
  • Solid knowledge of statistics and data analytics approaches
  • Proficiency in handling of multi-terabyte datasets in distributed Linux/Unix environments
  • Good written and verbal communication skills; fluent Business English and German
  • Some Experience in managing projects such as software or data science projects will be considered as advantage
