AI / CV Engineers at Walaris are the heart of our company, using the latest technologies to solve technical challenges. They develop real-time machine learning & image processing systems, and continuously design new concepts to generate innovative software solutions. They work together in cross-functional and international teams to exceed the expectations of our customers.

Responsibilities

For our headquarters in Peachtree Corners, we are looking for an AI / Computer Vision Engineer starting as soon as possible. Responsibilities include:

Research, development and implementation of ML algorithms and extended deep learning applications.

  • Implement and train neural networks for our real-time AI/ML image processing systems.
  • Participate in data evaluation to increase our model performance.
  • Oversee computer vision projects, including project requirements definition, evaluation metrics, and technical documentation development.
  • Collaborate closely with our cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into our AirScout product.

Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • You graduated with a degree in the field of computer science, artificial intelligence, or a related area (preferably Masters or PhD level)
  • You have 3 years+ of professional software developer experience in the field of artificial intelligence.
  • You have excellent programming skills in Python and have experience with Pytorch or Tensorflow.
  • You enjoy conducting research and staying up-to-date with the latest research in artificial intelligence, computer vision, and related fields.

Export Control Requirements:

  • To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
