About The Role

The Vice-president of Threat Intelligence and AI is responsible to develop and drive the successful execution of Arctic Wolf’s product and research strategy to drive maximum value creation in the areas of threat intelligence and AI. This includes all internal and productization of capabilities derived in this area of the business.  

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Develop and maintain a threat intel security strategy that both reflects the changing threat landscape, technology and buying trends and optimizes for Arctic Wolf’s unique platform and channel. 
  • In close partnership with the VP of Artificial Intelligence, develop and maintain a research and commercialization strategy for our AI research. Drive to conclusive research results, prioritization and ultimately the full realization of the value to Arctic Wolf’s business and customers. 
  • Work closely with senior leadership to drive strategic decisions and manage the financial success of your strategies and business plans. 
  • Foster a strong PM team that balances investments between the strategic and tactical, finds opportunities to differentiate, and masters cross-functional relationship building and use of the Arctic Wolf software development framework. 
  • Build and maintain a close relationship with customers, partners, analysts, and internal stakeholders to continually pressure test and adapt strategy and priorities to the needs and opportunities of the business. 
  • Work with product marketing to ensure we are leveraging our capabilities and research to maximize commercial benefits with influencers, prospects, customers and the channel. 
  • Work closely with engineering partners and service delivery teams to ensure successful delivery of product and service value to the market as committed in roadmap plans. 
  • With Program Management, work closely with Marketing, Finance, Legal, and customer facing functions (e.g. Pre-Sales, Sales, Customer Success, S2) to support the launch of product features, products, and services. 
  • Supervise and mentor a team of Product Managers providing day to day guidance and support, ongoing performance feedback, career development planning, goal and objective setting and execution, skills development, and overall growth. 
  • Build collaborative relationships with other teams and stakeholders within the organization. 

About You

Key Skills:

  • Directs a team in meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers; gets first-hand customer information and uses it for defining and executing on products, services, themes, and initiatives; acts with customers in mind; establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect. 
  • Exceptional overall communication skills – competent speaking to large groups and also regularly with C-level leadership. 
  • Keen understanding of various aspects of the business and exceptional understanding of translating strategic goals into operational tactics. 
  • Understanding of full-life cycle product and portfolio management with a special focus on product definition, development, and delivery. 
  • Champions the development of departmental goals and objectives and often contributes to organizational goals. Formally coaches lower level and cross functional people leaders. 

Key Competencies:

  • 10+ years of software and/or content product management, application development or related technical experience. 
  • Experience building and delivering cybersecurity offerings at scale. 
  • BA/BS technical degree required. 
  • 7+ years' experience in managerial role 
  • Professional education in cybersecurity and/or artificial intelligence preferred.

Previous security experience is preferred but not required. We provide all the cybersecurity training you need during onboarding and on-the-job training.
