We are dedicated to creating an advanced AI platform that handles seamless conversations across a variety of devices, as well as democratizing AI by allowing developers and IoT manufacturers to add new capabilities to Bixby.
Position Summary
In this role, the TPM actively engages with talented research scientists and engineers across the spectrum of research types - exploratory, focused, and applied research within speech, language, platform engineering and other AI domains. In close partnership with research, engineering, and other cross-functional teams, this person will identify technical problem statements, create technical roadmaps, scope programs aligning them with research outcomes and business priorities, define milestones and success metrics, and drive them to completion by aligning and leading large cross-functional teams. In this role, you will work closely with multiple engineering teams and contribute to the design, planning and execution of the evaluation road-map and architecture for ground breaking generative AI based frameworks. You will operate in a highly multi-functional environment to keep pushing the boundaries of automation, ML and AI.
Position Responsibilities:
- Build strong and aligned program teams to efficiently deliver on shared goals
- Collaborate with Engineers and Scientists to define program requirements, set priorities, and establish scope which includes defining the roadmap and long-term strategy of the teams that you are partnering with
- Develop and own communication plans to effectively and proactively communicate program status, issues, and risks to stakeholders
- Partner with cross functional teams to drive technical analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases
- Define and track key metrics and key quality and performance indicators and drive cross functional execution of program deliverables
- Proactively identify and analyze complex, long-term, critical infrastructure problems with engineering leaders and stakeholders
- Drive internal and external process improvements across multiple teams and functions including reducing the manual efforts through automation
Required Skills:
- MS or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- 5+ years of experience working closely with engineering teams
- 3+ years of AI related work experience including research, software engineering, system engineering, or technical product/program management experience
- Experience delivering tech programs or products from inception to delivery
- Knowledge of user needs, gathering requirements, and defining scope
- Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams, demonstrated critical thinking, and thought leadership
- Communication experience and experience working with technical management teams to develop systems, solutions, and products
- Organizational coordination experience and experience establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams and multiple partners in different time zones
- Analytical and problem-solving experience with large-scale systems

Within the base pay range, individual rates depend on a number of factors—including the role’s function and location as well as the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, education and training.
