Role OverviewMytra’s Program Management Office is looking for collaborative, high energy PMs to own the design, test, and NPI launch of our robot and AI-powered autonomous material flow systems.As a Technical Program Manager you’ll deliver cutting edge robotics and automation systems for an early stage start up, collaborating with hardware, software, firmware, AI and robotics engineers to develop our product, as well as manufacturing and supply chain to deliver and scale the design into production. You’ll have the opportunity to own the overall program timeline and drive results across a cross-functional team.
What you’ll be doingCreate the timeline and develop program plan for design execution, R&D build planning, and Engineering, Design and Production Validation Testing of our robot and autonomous systemsManaging the full project lifecycle of product development and will be responsible for improving efficiency, removing roadblocks, and ultimately ensuring the hardware engineering team's success.Collaborating and communicating with leadership, internal engineering, and external design resources to escalate risks and drive executionTracking project progression and initiating corrective actions when risks are identified.
Basic QualificationsBS or MS degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience.7+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, or program management, with a focus on product launches and /or validation and testing.Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvementsExperience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
The Ideal CandidateYou’re very comfortable developing timelines and driving towards an objective, and have experience with launching a product.You are excited about working on an immature project, growing together, and shaping the future of the company.Uncertainty isn’t scary, and you’re willing to realize mistakes and pivot.You’re familiar with Notion, Jira, Asana or any other task/project management platform. Being well-versed in scrum/agile workflows is a bonus.You can convey complex ideas and technical concepts to a diverse audience.Openness, inquisitiveness, and constant ambition are important values.You have delivered a high-volume product, or worked in manufacturing, factory or warehouse environments
Salary Range / Pay DisclosureThe base salary range for this full-time position is $120k - $185k. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Please note that the base salary range provided in this posting does not include any bonus, equity, or benefits you may be eligible for.
LocationSan Francisco Bay area; Hands-on, working with engineers and technicians on the hardware.Some travel may be required, depending on customer deployments.
