Summary of Position:
The Systems and Application Administrator is responsible for managing the tools and systems required for the team's functions related to the Technology Experience Center and 5G Hub.
Essential Functions:
- Handle configuration changes to support evolving business needs.
- Maintain systems with updates and compliance against security breaches
- Need to be able to multitask
- Integrate 3rd party company tools and have them work together with existing systems and applications
- Effectively translate business needs into technical solutions and then implement those solutions
- Interact with vendors to resolve issues
- Setting up new or automated reports to achieve better operation efficiencies
- Create Fields and Forms
- Scripting files and APIs - Web Apps and cloud-based applications
- Designing, installing, troubleshooting and maintaining hardware and software
- Conducting business analysis and change management as needed
- Planning for and leveraging new releases to ensure feature utilization is maximized
- Monitor emerging technology developments and identify innovations with potential benefits to existing systems and applications
- Make recommendations for new/altered technologies that would contribute to System cost savings and/or productivity improvements
- Assist in interface planning methodology by communication with clients, vendors and Team Members
- Recommend changes for improved system operation and security
- Develop action plans to address unsatisfactory occurrences in compliance for security and operations

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee in this position frequently communicates with other co-workers/clients who have inquiries about the various projects and other needs. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. The employee must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time. The employee in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Constantly operate a computer and office machinery such as a calculator, keyboard, copy machine and printer. Frequently moves boxes with equipment weighing up to 25lbs across the building and/or to other offsite buildings for various project needs.
Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma Required
- 3+ Years of Experience
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- At least two years of experience in system or application administration.
- You must be able to effectively translate business needs into technical solutions and then implement those solutions.
- Need to know how to multi-task, learn new concepts quickly, and have a solid understanding of web applications.
- Need to understand business processes
- Have excellent communication skills to be able to explain technical topics to non-technical staff
- Programming/scripting is a plus
