What you will do
Conducting research in the fields of volumetric video streaming, low latency communications and interactivity in Mixed Reality environments
Participating in the development of Mixed Reality applications involving state-of-the-art computer vision technologies based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the 3D realistic representation of humans
Taking part in big-scale German and European projects focused on the evolution of a variety of immersive telepresence applications
What you bring to the table
You are a student in Communications/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar fields at a German university
Good understanding of mathematical concepts
Good knowledge of the following programming languages: C++, C#, Python, experience in mobile development is a plus
Good coding skills in terms of efficiency, readability and cleanliness
Creative thinking and interest for novel technologies
Good communication skills and teamwork spirit
Excellent spoken and written English

The position is initially limited to 6 months. An extension is explicitly desired.
The monthly working time is 80 hours. This position is also available on a part-time basis.
