As a student assistant, you are responsible for capturing 2D and 3D data and processing it using Artificial Intelligence (AI). You will implement the finished models on demonstrators and potentially integrate them into ROS1/ROS2. These tasks are relevant for projects involving robotic handling as well as quality inspection using computer vision. Your work will support the optimization and automation of processes in these and other fields. Thus, you will contribute to developing and commercializing innovative solutions for the industry.

  • Conduct scientific research on current state-of-the-art methods
  • Design and conduct experiments, capture 2D and 3D data
  • Prepare data and train AI models
  • Implement the finished models on our demonstrator

What you can expect

  • Insight into current technologies in AI and robotics
  • Regular meetings at least every two weeks
  • Work with robot cells equipped with various industrial sensors for 2D and 3D data acquisition
  • Laptop for access to workstations for computer vision and AI training
  • Partial work from home possible

Remuneration dependent on qualifications.

This position is also available on a part-time basis.
