In this role, you will be pivotal in designing and implementing robust solutions across our organization to meet specific business challenges in the CPG industry. You will not only focus on the technical aspects of solution design and delivery but also engage actively in the pre-sales and consulting processes to help secure new business and ensure client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with potential CPG clients during the pre-sales phase to understand their business requirements and present tailored solutions that demonstrate our capabilities and address their needs.

  • Lead the development of comprehensive proposals and presentations that clearly articulate the proposed solutions' business value and technical merits in the context of the CPG industry.

  • Design practical, creative, and cost-effective solutions that meet project requirements and are aligned with the company's overall IT architecture, considering the unique challenges of the CPG sector.

  • Facilitate discussions with business and IT stakeholders to translate CPG-specific business needs into technical specifications.

  • Create detailed solution design documents that outline the architecture and technologies needed to implement the solution, taking into account the scalability and performance requirements of CPG clients.

  • Collaborate with software developers, system operators, and other IT staff to ensure smooth and reliable integration of new software and systems into the company's IT infrastructure, with a focus on CPG-specific integrations and data sources.

  • Provide technical guidance and leadership during the solution development and implementation phases, ensuring best practices in software design and coding are followed, especially in the context of CPG industry standards and regulations.

  • Evaluate new technologies and software products to determine feasibility and desirability of incorporating their capabilities within the company, considering their relevance to the CPG domain.

  • Assist in the development of architectural and design standards to improve performance, capacity, and scalability of product applications, taking into account the unique data and processing needs of CPG clients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience as a Solutions Architect or in a similar role, with at least 6-7 years in a client-facing or consulting capacity, preferably in the CPG industry.

  • Strong software architecture and design understanding, including cloud computing, web services, and backend integration, with a focus on CPG-specific technologies and platforms.

  • Extensive experience with at least one major cloud service provider (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their offerings relevant to the CPG sector.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders in the CPG domain.

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team and drive projects to completion, considering the unique timelines and deliverables of CPG clients.
