This role is pivotal in overseeing and implementing Generative AI projects and architecting innovative solutions for our clients across healthcare, higher education, and other sectors. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on technical expertise, the ability to architect complex solutions, strong leadership capabilities, and robust research and development skills.

Qualifications

Role and Responsibilities

  • Oversee Generative AI projects and other technology initiatives, ensuring successful delivery and alignment with client goals.
  • Architect and design comprehensive AI-driven solutions, balancing technical performance with business requirements.
  • Implement hands-on development and integration of Generative AI technologies, guiding the project from conception to deployment.
  • Lead and mentor developers of various skill levels, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Engage with clients to understand their unique challenges, develop tailored solutions, and present technical concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Manage project workstreams, including work plan management, analytics, reporting, and client interfacing.
  • Collaborate with client staff and leadership to drive project success and ensure high-quality deliverables.

Key Qualifications

  • 7-10+ years' professional experience in a related field, with significant exposure to AI, machine learning, and emerging technologies.
  • Proven experience in architecting, designing, and implementing enterprise-level AI-driven solutions, including hands-on expertise with AI and ML frameworks, Azure/AWS AI Stack, Python, JavaScript, React, and REST APIs.
  • Familiarity with leading Generative AI models from providers such as Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta, Google, and Amazon.
  • Knowledge of DevOps principles, including code repository management, CI/CD processes, and automation.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills to guide, mentor, and inspire development teams, ensuring timely and on-budget project delivery.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities for analyzing and addressing complex technical challenges.
  • Exceptional communication skills for conveying technical concepts to diverse audiences, including customers and stakeholders.
  • Experience in responsible AI practices; familiarity with Trustworthy AI principles is a plus.
  • Certifications in Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or Amazon Web Services are highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.

The estimated base salary for this job is $145,000 - $170,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $166,750 - $212,500. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
