🗨️About the Team

The AI Platform team mainly provides DataOps and ModelOps solutions for developing AI models that a researcher needs. We focus on managing medical image data for Radiology and Oncology; developing automatic data pipelines and a data management platform for governance; and managing data collection, analysis, curation, medical image rendering, and labeling. We have a strong focus on developing highly efficient and advanced user experiences to ensure data quality and annotation quality for developing high-accuracy AI models. To facilitate efficient data labeling for high-quality annotations, we implement DevOps, DataOps, and ModelOps pipeline practices among these platforms to allow the annotators and researchers to semi-automatically and iteratively process and label image samples for model training and development. We also convert, optimize, and productize research models for various supported hardware devices to run AI inference in real-time on patient image data.

🗨️About the Position

The Technical Planner for Product Management will help to improve our process through business requirements collection, analysis, documentation, and communication among various stakeholders. They will also find insights into stakeholders' unspoken expectations and needs. They will need to effectively communicate stakeholders in an interpretable and presentable way. Stakeholders include machine learning researchers, data engineers, radiologists, pathologists, and product managers. They will also work with the technical leads to coordinate a software system design that fits the business requirements and define technical work items.

🚩 Roles & Responsibilities

  • Actively evaluate processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and share these discoveries with the AI Platform department.
  • Collaborate and communicate with internal customers to engage them to share ideas, problems, and requests with the AI Platform department.
  • Maintain close co-working relationships and high satisfaction with customers, and keep them updated about the vision, road map, and status of products.
  • Collect, organize, and share business requirements with the AI Platform department to enable leads to generate technical requirements.
  • Document business logic for internal reference and easy sharing with internal customers.
  • Coordinate discussion among technical leads to define software system architecture to fit business needs.
  • Closely watch and follow up on the issue tickets or assigned tasks, and keep stakeholders of the AI Platform and customers updated.
  • Assist the leader of the PM team with the refinements of PM metrics for the observability of the AI Platform dept.

Requirements

🎯Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or related field; or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Business level English
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Experience in working on web-related or data system technologies
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Experience in the software development life cycle
  • Can identify unspoken needs of customers, then discuss and define a practical plan to win customers' trust
  • Able to peacefully and effectively deal with conflicts or confrontations among teams and customers
  • Highly personable but firm when identifying and discussing problems
  • Strong writing skills
  • Healthy disregard for title and rank
  • Experience in some work item ticketing software
