About the Role

The role will be responsible for defining the AIA's digital and AI architecture, ensuring the development of next-generation technology with emerging innovation, maintaining modern and outstanding digital technologies, governing the digital and AI applications portfolio, encouraging a culture of innovation and modernization, and supporting technological aspects of new initiatives and mergers & acquisitions.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Define AIA’s Group’s target-state digital and AI architecture, technology choices and solutions in alignment with business goals
• Develop and lead digital and AI architecture standards, govern application portfolio of markets and maintain portfolio of Group applications
• Assess market’s as-is digital and AI architecture landscape and roadmap’s alignment to market’s business strategy and Group standards
• Evaluate emerging digital and AI technology trends, advancements and solutions, find opportunities for innovation and improvement, make recommendation on solution choices to business leaders and highlight the potential impact on their business
• Provide high-level architecture support for delivery of Digital and AI initiatives where needed to ensure successful project execution
• Responsible for evaluating vendors and solutions for Digital and AI initiatives
• Connect with Group and successfully market Digital and AI teams in technical discussions
• Collaborate and engage with market leaders to upscale digital and AI capabilities

Minimum Requirements

• At least 4 years of architecture practice in sophisticated international environments in insurance or financial services sector
• Understand complexities and challenges of the organization, closely linked processes, information and technologies to develop future-state digital and AI architecture to support delivery of business goals
• Possess exceptional interpersonal skills with the capabilities to influence and collaborate with key internal and external collaborators.
• Hands-on experience in leading and handling team
