Job Description

Data and AI Engineering Leader with 8-10 years of experience in technology and consulting. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategy, architecture, implementation, and operation of Data and AI platforms in the cloud, as well as a strong background in product management, pre-sales, customer experience, and success. This role requires excellent leadership skills and the ability to drive high-impact practices.

Essential Job Functions

  • Lead the technical strategy for Azure Data & AI business in the Customer Success Unit.
  • Manage and mentor a cross-functional team across multiple time zones.
  • Assess and enhance the organization's technical capabilities, focusing on hiring, retaining, and upskilling corporate and field teams.
  • Oversee the roll-out and adoption of new roles and value-based delivery models.
  • Partner with engineering, pre-sales, marketing, and field teams to launch and execute customer technical guidance.
  • Drive the end-to-end vision, strategy, and execution for critical initiatives such as Databricks P3, Synapse Gen 2, and data governance with Purview.
  • Provide executive sponsorship to large, strategic customer accounts for complex Data & AI workloads.
  • Lead proactive customer engagements, planning, and confidence calls for strategic accounts.
  • Leading large, complex, global, and multi-million-dollar business-led technology programs.
  • Trusted advisor to C-suite executives.
  • Managing transformational rollouts and new value-based delivery models.
  • Partnering with engineering and pre-sales teams to drive technical guidance and execution for customers.
  • Leading product feedback loops and competitive scenario planning.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, information technology or related field preferred and or Graduate degree in in business, computer science, information technology or Business Analytics
  • 8-10 years experience in cloud strategy, architecture, implementation, and operations (Dev, Data, ML).  Cloud Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Real-time AI, Lakehouse, Data Mesh, and Multi-cloud environments. 
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, Hadoop, Kafka, Spark, and MLflow.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills.
  • Experience in change management and standardization of cloud modernization execution.

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $137,000 - $254,400.
