Join our dynamic Enterprise AI platform team at AstraZeneca as a Scrum Master. This role is pivotal in setting up, evolving, and driving the scrum structure, including all ceremonies and metrics for the platform teams as per AstraZeneca ADF guidelines. Accountabilities:

As a Scrum Master, you will ensure that Scrum is understood and the team adheres to its theory, practice, and guidelines. You will have solid exposure to the product-platform ways of working in an Agile environment. You will work with the Scrum Team, as well as internal and external collaborators, to influence and drive decision-making and support organizational project or product teams. Your role will involve facilitating and supporting all scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective. You will upskill team members and facilitate end-of-sprint retrospectives, contributing to the team's understanding of their in-sprint performance.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Overall, demonstrated ability

  • Hands-on experience as Scrum Master for at least 3-4 years

  • Experience in Project Management Tools

  • CSM/equivalent certification

  • Excellent Mentor skills

  • Bachelors in engineering (preferably Computer Science) or equivalent

  • Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing visibility.

  • Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques. Planning and problem-solving with product management and delivery teams

  • Experience in applying a wide variety of well-documented patterns and techniques to improve the Scrum approach (e.g., progress visualization techniques, retrospective formats, approaches for handling bugs, etc.).

  • Knowledge and experience of other agile, lean and DevOps approaches (e.g., XP, Kanban, TDD, continuous integration, continuous delivery, automation, etc.)

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal

  • Excellent coaching and mentoring skills
