The Role
As a Resource Manager, you have the exciting opportunity to create an environment that empowers employees to engage in experiences that enhance their professional lives and career trajectories. Your role as a workforce planning and resource management expert is central to activating day-to-day operations that drive business performance and fulfil our commitment to nurturing talent. You achieve this by strategically placing the right people in the right roles at the right time, assisting with project demand prioritization, and augmenting supply. Additionally, you will provide insights into workforce planning, skills, capabilities, and trends.

Collaborate closely with our business leaders and other EY internal functions
Your key responsibilities:
Partner with our leaders and stakeholders to build and manage key relationships across accounts/sectors/talent pools to develop and direct a resource management agenda
Collaborate closely with Talent and Recruitment teams
Assess current and future resource requirements and an approach to support these requirements in a timely manner. This involves understanding the background of projects, required skills and expertise.
Allocate and manage people bench across open roles on projects with the right skills and expertise
Manage talent pools and the bench, available capacity, understand capabilities and proactively identify opportunities for available people
Ensure seamless connectivity between pursuit teams and our available talent.
Provide timely and accurate insights into long term resource requirements based on recent and forecast trends
Identify training needs for resources to enhance their skills and capabilities
Drive behaviour change using data insights, and foster agile and continuous improvement
Ensure a reliable and accurate business forecast as input into key business decisions on supply and demand
Provide accurate and regular reporting regarding talent pool availability, current and utilisation forecast to stakeholders with insights
What we’re looking for:
Minimum 3 years’ experience with workforce planning, resource management or recruitment
Ability to provide strategic insights and manage expectations in pursuit of increasing utilisation and employee engagement
Exceptional client service with a strong desire to build exceptional, high-performing teams for our business
Ability to understand the business, learn the unique skills, needs and goals of our people
Attention to detail and data accuracy
Ability to analyse data to provide insights and recommendations
Stakeholder engagement across multiple levels in the business
