POSITION TITLE: Recruitment Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:

Plan, develop and process staffing activities of the American Hospital Dubai including developing a recruitment plan, screening applicants, identifying and implementing tests per position, conducting and participating in campaigns and job fairs and planning and participating in final selection. Adhere to organizational policies and regulatory standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop a yearly recruitment plan based on the staffing plan of every department.
  • Screen all applicants. Includes reviewing and studying all cvs, searching the HR database for potential fit for vacancies posted, filling adequate feedback evaluation forms on candidates, and assigning suitable tests for applicants.
  • Develop and administer suitable tests for applicants based on the job requirements. 
  • Conduct and participate in campaigns such as job fairs and open days.
  • Liaises with Department Directors/Heads to identify specific recruitment and selection requirements.   
  • Develop shortlists of the best fits according to screening results and preparing for attending selection interviews. Plan and participate in the final selection of candidates. Plan selection interview schedules, prepare the individual interview sheet as well as the shortlist of applicants with comments inserted per candidate, participate in selection committee interviews
  • Gather feedback from selection committee members and ensure agreement and equal opportunity and objectivity on the selection that has been reached.Make job offers to selected candidates. Review job offers with HR Director to ensure approval, prepare job offers to candidates, explain employment conditions and benefits arrange and coordinate for medical exam and other pre-employment formalities and oversee the process of replies to candidates.
  • Counsel existing employees on careers at the Americna Hospital by identifying personal competencies and match them with the job competencies.
  • Arranges interview schedule face to face and via communications channels worldwide. 
  • Coordinates and participates in interviewing and Selection of Staff at all levels including Managers and Director level. 
  • Ensures all required information and documentation is provided to the selected candidate. Communicate with candidates ensuring required paperwork is returned and contractual issues understood. 
  • Generates monthly/weekly HR Statistical report.
  • Oversees the recruitment requirements of Nursing staff /Allied Health / Physicians within the American Hospital Dubai.
  • Manages the HR Recruitment Specialists and Senior Recruitment Specialists within the team in meeting recruitment deadlines. 
  • Maintains a comprehensive weekly report on recruitment and selection activities for the Director of Human Resources.
  • Ensures all required information and documentation is provided to the selected candidate.
  • Participates in employment events and career fairs.
  • Maintains confidentiality at all times.
  • Performs additional duties as requested by HR Director.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in Healthcare recruitment and resourcing In-house with the HR Department.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE Labour laws.
  • Skills in Computer Applications such as Oracle, etc.
  • Ability to speak and write in English fluently.
  • Previous Middle Eastern recruitment experience in the Healthcare sector preferred.
