Lead - Product Design -Pune, India

We are looking for an experienced and motivated lead to help shape the products within the Advanced Analytics portfolio. As a Product Design Lead for the Analytics Ecosystem, you will be working with our Product leaders and Data Science leaders to shape our strategy to scale Analytics that is aligned with the core of NIQ measurement products. You will design products by extracting insights from data, developing predictive models, driving data-driven decision-making, designing innovative solutions, managing client support for product methodology, and maintaining the data science knowledge base across the Analytics Product organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand the product, data science, engineering, and architecture strategy, develop the strategy and design for scalable and operationally efficient analytics product ecosystem integrated with our core measurement platform.
  • Collaborate with the Product owners and Data Science leads to help design and build high-quality analytics products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and identify opportunities for leveraging data to create Analytics products
  • Design innovative data science solutions to address business challenges and opportunities
  • Collaborate with the Data Science and Engineering leads to develop and implement machine learning models for predictive analytics and other data-driven applications
  • Design processes and tools for our operations and modelling teams to manage the execution and the quality of the models
  • Manage client support for methodology, including providing guidance on data science best practices and ensuring the successful implementation of data-driven solutions
  • Manage the data science knowledge base, including documenting best practices,building reusable analytics libraries, and sharing insights and learnings with the broader organization
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field; Master's or Ph.D. preferred
  • 15+ years of experience in data science or a related field with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R
  • Experience with machine learning techniques and libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities

Preferred:

  • Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP)
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
