Job Description

As an AI technology scouting intern, the candidate will work on researching AI methods, solutions and state-of-the-art for various internal projects. The candidate will:

  • Conduct research and analysis to identify emerging technologies and ongoing internal and external works related to AI.
  • Analyze trends, market reports, and academic research to stay up to date on the latest developments in AI in industry.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct evaluation and identify potential use cases.
  • Assist the team to prepare and conduct interviews with other business units.
  • Develop reports and presentations to communicate findings for internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Able to work full time for a minimum period of 3 months (duration can be discussed during interview, i.e., August 2024 onwards)
  • Undergraduate/graduate studies in related fields from Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, AI, or Business with good academic standing, with coursework or projects relevant to AI and technology scouting.
  • Knowledge of AI and Machine Learning: Understanding of fundamental AI concepts, machine learning algorithms, and their applications
  • Ability to meticulously analyze and interpret data and research findings.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Independent learning and self-motivated individual with a strong team-work spirit.
  • Passion for research and emerging technologies.
