The Oracle North America Field Engagement & Marketing (FEMA) has an immediate opening for an AI/ML & Healthcare Market Development Leader. This role is positioned to take the Oracle Cloud message into the AI/ML & Healthcare marketplace, directly to senior level executives.
As the AI/ML & Healthcare Market Development Leader, you will have accumulated industry-leading experience and knowledge on key industry issues, including trends, regulations, and the industry landscape. You will leverage this experience, particularly as it relates to industry requirements to position cloud capabilities including data, security, and compliance requirements.
Additionally, you will have a functional knowledge of the information systems and technology capabilities typically used to drive the core business and organizational processes in [Industry Name] and have gained experience in a transformation program that involved in whole or in part, a technology transformation to the cloud.
Meets with Sales leaders to create strategic marketing plan in Sales support of pipeline and revenue objectives. Participant in regular pipeline and forecast review meetings. Communicates program status, action items, and deliverables across Field Marketing team and Sales. Experience in AI, ML, or Healthcare Industry required.
Role Requirements & Competencies
This is a position that involves entrepreneurial leadership, analytical thinking, creative instinct, and notoriety in one or more of these industries. Success in this role will require industry knowledge and experience, an understanding of Oracle’s cloud differentiation, and strong sales and marketing skills.
Proven track record executing multi-faceted event programs. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to provide consultative input to senior Sales leaders. Basic understanding of business management and operations, including finance/revenue/pipeline principles. Able to engage customers in dialogue about their business needs and IT solutions. Excellent written and verbal skills, and ability to work on far-flung virtual teams. Moderate technical and strategic understanding of Technology, Applications, and Industry solutions being marketed. Attention to detail and discipline to follow established policies and processes from event design to execution to lead flow.
Plans, executes, and measures demand generation marketing programs to grow sales pipeline and revenue for Field Sales organization.
Career Level - IC4
This person will collaborate with field sales and engineers for customer and industry insights. Translate those insights into programs, events and sales plays with corporate teams and provide closed loop feedback to drive continuous improvement. Monitor changes in customer behavior, revisit historical assumptions, and obtain actionable customer feedback. Provide input to Industry Marketing and act as an internal and external thought leader. Build “last mile” content to align programmatic execution with Industry and customer trends. Support account planning by facilitating strategy map, influence map and validating quality of pursuits. Collaborate on segment/LOB demand plans.
Meets with Sales leaders to create strategic marketing plan in Sales support of pipeline and revenue objectives. Participant in regular pipeline and forecast review meetings. Develops and implements tactical marketing programs in conjunction with Sales, Channels, Product Marketing, Product Management, Oracle Direct (Telesales), and external influencers such as user groups and industry trade associations. Provides onsite execution support for marketing programs. Tracks lead flow to ensure the appropriate Sales channels are following up with event attendees and campaign responders in a timely manner. Creates and manages program budget, measures ROI through metrics analysis and reporting. Acts as a virtual team liaison for corporate business initiatives, programs and launches. Communicates program status, action items, and deliverables across Field Marketing team and Sales.
