HR DIRECTOR

Responsible for efficient and cost-effective operations of the Human Resources department including but not limited to, the development and maintenance of Personnel Policies and Procedures, Employee Handbook, employee programs, job classification system, staff planning and recruitment, employee contracts, hospital provided housing, staff development, employee relations and pay practice administration.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Craft powerful talent acquisition strategies to build strong pipelines for future hiring needs, ensuring a steady supply of diverse and qualified candidates.
  • Formulate career development plans that foster employee growth, engagement, and retention.
  • Promote inclusion in the workplace and reinforce AHD’s position as an equal opportunity employer, ensuring diversity and equity are integral to the culture.
  • Ensure hiring, on-boarding, and management procedures are effective for employees from diverse backgrounds.
  • Lead employer branding efforts, including recruitment marketing, to attract top talent and establish the organization as an employer of choice.
  • Provide strategic guidance to the HR team to ensure seamless HR operations.
  • Evaluate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Develop HR policies that align with our mission, values, and business objectives, ensuring consistency across all branches, countries, and regions.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of the HR procedures and tools, implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
  • Ensure HR plans are aligned with the organization’s long-term growth and strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to provide insights and data-driven recommendations on workforce planning and talent management.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and changes in labor legislation, incorporating them into HR strategies and policies.
  • Lead organizational change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and employee buy-in.
  • Oversee employee relations matters and ensure effective conflict resolution and communication.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar role within the UAE.
  • Postgraduate Degree in Human Resources Management from a reputed university.
  • Must have excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience in healthcare facility is a must.
