Position Summary: As a Human Capital Business Partner (HCBP) you will play a pivotal role in aligning human resources strategies with the overall business objectives. This position involves providing expert HR guidance to people, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and regulations. Individuals with 5 to 6 years of HR experience looking to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with expertise in employee lifecycle management, employee relations, talent management, and organizational development, will be most suited for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employee Life Cycle: A first point of contact for people and managers to address HR-related queries and issues, communicate and implement new policies & processes, and implement BU-specific interventions to identified people. Effectively manage the employee lifecycle post onboarding. Own 3P’s – Policy, Process and Practices in alignment with business.

  • Employee Engagement & Retention: Regular Pulse Check of people through Connections. Be on the ground with people to understand their pain points and areas of improvement. Analyse past attrition trends and prepare retention strategies for respective departments. Foster a positive working environment through engagement activities and initiatives.

  • Strategic Partnership and Business Acumen: Collaborate closely with business teams to understand their objectives and challenges and provide HR insights and solutions that drive business success.

  • Employee Relations: Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues and concerns, conduct thorough and objective investigations in a sensitive manner, and promote a supportive and inclusive workplace environment.

  • Talent Management: Support the design and execution of talent management strategies, including workforce planning, succession planning, and career development initiatives.

  • Performance Management: Facilitate the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and individual development plans. Provide coaching and feedback to enhance employee performance.

  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements. Stay abreast of developments in employment laws and regulations.

  • HR Projects: Lead or contribute to various HR projects aimed at enhancing organizational effectiveness and driving continuous improvement.

  • People Analytics: Utilize HR metrics and data analytics to identify trends, propose improvements, and make data-driven recommendations to the Business units.

Qualifications and Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 5 to 6 years of progressive experience in human resources, managing large spans with 500-800 people, with a focus on employee lifecycle, employee engagement & experience,  employee relations, talent management, and organizational development.

  • Thorough understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, statutory compliance, and regulatory requirements.

  • Meaningful relationships are your thing. You excel at making a connection with those around you and can build effective relationships across all organizational levels in a matrix organization.

  • You are an excellent communicator- A clear, approachable, and friendly communication style, both written & verbal, and the willingness to tailor your message to different audiences.

  • Extremely attentive to detail - you understand the impact and operate with accuracy & precision.

  • Strong analytical, logical, numerical aptitude and problem-solving abilities with proficiency in conflict resolution.

  • Ability to multi-task and perform effectively under pressure.

  • Highly trustworthy. You handle information with great discretion and diplomacy.

  • Proficiency in HRIS and other relevant HR software applications.

  • HR certification (desirable).

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PPT, Word, O365 etc) is mandatory.
