What You’ll Do

  • Expand the top of the funnel by identifying new CRO-generated opportunities for the BD team to pursue
  • Additionally lead the identification and initial engagement of of promising biotech companies whose research and clinical trial needs overlap with PathAI’s service offerings
  • Prioritize opportunities and concentrate the funnel with opportunities that are in PathAI’s sweet spot
  • Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders at executed CRO partnerships and be the face of PathAI at CRO partners, with responsibility to visit them and drive events to showcase the PathAI portfolio (e.g., a roadshows and lunch & learn events at partner sites)
  • Serve as single point of contact for CRO-related visits and audits of PathAI facilities and portfolio; working closely with ClinOps, Quality, Biopharma Lab and others
  • Collaborate with Marketing to hone the value proposition, messaging and collateral that is CRO-facing
  • Implement governance processes for CRO partnerships (e.g., Joint Executive Committees)
  • Proactively address issues and mitigate risks arising from partnership activities
  • Be the voice of the CRO or pharma partner internally at PathAI
  • Conduct periodic stakeholder check-ins to solicit feedback and ensure continuous improvement in partner operations and health
  • Manage partnerships with 3rd party vendors providing ancillary services such as kitting

What You Bring

  • 8-10+ years of experience working in the CRO or life sciences industry – directly at biopharma companies, or companies providing products / services to the biopharma industry
  • 5+ years of experience in Alliance Management or Business Development / Partnerships in the life sciences or advanced diagnostics industries
  • Familiar with, and comfort discussing, drug development, oncology, precision medicine and 
  • Comfort working in a scrappy, all-hands-on-deck environment; embodies a mindset of urgency
  • Strong relationship building with all levels within biopharma organizations
  • Ability to work and manage a cross-functional team, specifically willingness to collaborate with marketing, product development, scientific and medical teams, etc.
  • Hands-on, experienced, proactive, independent, articulate, and can get in the weeds but also think at the thirty-thousand foot level 

Nice to Have

  • Bonus: MD, PhD in applicable scientific or technical field

*We are open to remote work. Travel essential for some client meetings.
