Job Description

Primary Function of Position:

As the Director of Program Management for Data, Analytics, and AI, you will lead the strategic management of our organization's data and analytics initiatives within the Global Business Services Project Management Office (PMO). Your primary responsibility will be to oversee enterprise-wide data and analytics programs, driving efficiency and effectiveness through the development and maintenance of comprehensive playbooks and artifacts. This critical role requires exceptional leadership skills, a blend of technical expertise, and visionary strategic thinking, all supported by outstanding communication abilities. We are seeking an experienced Director of Program Management with a proven track record in managing diverse portfolios, fostering collaboration across functional teams, and optimizing resources to ensure successful project outcomes within the Global Business Services department.

Roles and Responsibilities:

You will lead the charge in orchestrating and driving the successful execution of numerous programs and projects throughout our organization. Your leadership will be instrumental in ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and delivering impactful results that contribute to our overall success.

  • Establishing and Maintaining Standardized Processes: In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing standardized processes and documents, serving as the blueprint for projects within Data, Analytics, and AI domains.
  • Coordinating Integrated Timelines: Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will develop comprehensive timelines for large-scale company-wide projects, ensuring alignment and unified progress towards common objectives.
  • Managing Budget Requirements: Your role involves gathering and tracking budgetary needs for each program and workstream related to Data, Analytics, and AI, ensuring fiscal responsibility and resource optimization.
  • Crafting Strategic Roadmaps: You will contribute to the creation and upkeep of Data Analytics and AI roadmaps, ensuring their alignment with organizational goals and adaptability to evolving needs.
  • Conducting Resource Planning: Engaging in resource allocation planning across the organization for Data, Analytics, and AI endeavors, you will identify potential constraints and opportunities for efficiency enhancement.
  • Ensuring Compliance and Execution Excellence: Working closely with Technical Project Managers (TPMs), you will ensure teams adhere to established playbooks and project execution gates or milestones, promoting consistency and quality in project delivery.
  • Providing Leadership and Mentorship: Embracing a leadership role, you will provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative culture of continuous learning and improvement in business intelligence practices.

Overall, in this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in providing structure, coordinating resources, and ensuring the successful execution of Data, Analytics, and AI projects within our organization.

Qualifications

Skill/Job Requirements:

  • Minimum a Masters Degree or related equivalent work experience of 15 years required
  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in program or project management (preferably within a data and analytics environment) required
  • Ability to define projects and their goals, estimating budgets, risks, and resources required
  • Strong understanding of financial and business principles, risk management, and performance measurement.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • SQL and Tableau proficiency
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, PgMP, or PfMP are a

It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications.
