About the Role: 

We are currently searching for a Business Development leader to support the sales and marketing of our internal software suite, TandemVizTM. As the Associate Director, Director or Senior Director of Product Sales and Business Development, you will network within the Drug Discovery industry and generate awareness for TandemAI's innovative new software that is transforming how discovery is executed. You will drive growth by expanding and growing a pipeline of opportunities and converting them to meet revenue goals.

What you will do:

  • Deliver a marketing and sales strategy around our computational software / SaaS product  TandemVizTM our next generation, web-based, collaborative tool for drug discovery, within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.
  • Identify, qualify, and transact new clients for TandemVizTM to increase revenue and meet annual sales goals.
  • Identify and engage new prospective clients through BD presentations and TandemViz demonstrations. 
  • Provide feedback and TandemViz suggestions to clients based on their discovery bottlenecks and project challenges.
  • Provide prospecting and BD updates, as well as sales projections to leadership on a routine basis. 
  • Manage all TandemViz clients to ensure objectives are met.

What you should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in life sciences, chemistry, computational sciences, business or marketing.
  • A combination of scientific and business education/experience is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with the leading computational tools across the drug discovery industry
  • General awareness of the drug discovery process, challenges, and trends within the industry.
  • 8+ years of experience in business development or transactional experience with a record of accomplishment in leading and executing transactions in lab services or software sales in the life sciences industry.
  • Superior oral communication, written and presentation skills with demonstrated self -awareness when engaging clients and prospects.
