Database and Warehouse Management System Administrator (DBA WMS)
Responsibilities:
Perform stock reconciliations to ensure accurate inventory levels.
Introduce and modify various types of discounts within the system as required.
Review and update partnership levels within the membership system.
Oversee Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes including order review, correction, and E-Factura processing.
Introduce new lot series into the system and ensure proper tracking.
Modify barcode configurations for products and inventory items.
Manage synchronization processes between databases to ensure data consistency.
Develop and maintain automation scripts to facilitate data imports and streamline database management tasks.
Maintain and enhance existing scripts written in Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) to support business processes.
Requirements:
Proven experience in database administration, preferably with expertise in SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase or similar databases.
Strong knowledge of SQL, MySQL, and Sybase
for database management and query optimization.
Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management concepts.
Experience with B-Org, Hermes, Transart WMS
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation purposes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot database and system issues effectively.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing system improvement opportunities.
Experience in Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) scripting is a plus.
