We are looking for a Data Vendor Specialist.
The role provides an opportunity to contribute to the mission of Clarity while working in a multicultural, flexible, and fast-paced environment, by working side by side with Product and establishing relationships 3rd party data partner.
Location
The role is based in Madrid or Barcelona.

Key Responsibilities
Working as a Data Vendor Specialist you will be responsible for:
- Due diligence of 3rd party data vendors: Perform market research of 3rd party data vendors and execute due diligence/screening process to select best alternative from defined short-list of vendors
- Ongoing conversations with 3rd party data vendors: you will play a key role in the discussions with our different data vendors
- Ensure pipeline of 3rd party data vendors is up to date: Maintain up to date information and records associated with 3rd party data vendors competitive intelligence and current contracts
- Conduct data analysis to assess how different data vendors are used across business units
- Execute and improve reporting requirements associated with different 3rd party data vendors
- Support to Legal on contracts definition and data rights compliance: you will support our several team from a functional perspective on how to handle 3rd party data limitations, and you will be in close collaboration with our legal team to translate business needs into contractual terms
- Collaborate with partners across lines of businesses and functions, navigating the organization and figuring out who is needed to get things done. You will use your influence skills to establish a strong sense of working together towards a shared vision and goals.
- Apply problem-solving techniques to determine business impact and strategic option
Requirements
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills. (Minimum C1 level-proficient user)
- Highly motivated, independent and deeply passionate about sustainability and impact.
- Strong communication skills, with proven negotiation skills
- Strong Excel skills. SQL and/or Python hands-on experience preferred
- CRM user experience for reporting purposes. Salesforce experience preferred
- Degree in Business, Engineering or a quantitative discipline
- At least 2 years of experience at a similar position
- Ability to read and understand contracts with Data Vendors
- Understand how contracts affect the products
- Business oriented person, with deep attention to details
