As part of a process of continuous evolution and adoption of these technologies in our client companies, we are hiring a Data & AI Director.

What will be your challenge?

Responsible for leading the data and AI strategy, vision, and execution for the organization in Spain. Oversees the data and AI teams, projects, and initiatives, ensuring alignment with the business goals and objectives. 

Fosters a culture of data-driven decision making, innovation, and ethical use of data and AI.  

As a director will also be an evangelist of data & AI both inside and outside the company, creating a strong brand and reputation in the market. 

You will report to the partners of xTech in Spain and work closely with other senior managers and partners. 

We are looking for a Data & AI Director to join our team and lead all the operations in data and artificial intelligence. 

You will be responsible for delivering our value proposition to our clients, who are usually big companies with big digital transformation projects.  

Among the responsibilities of the Data & AI direction will be the leadership of commercial, prospecting, and loyalty initiatives, to consolidate and growth clients, developing relationships with key buyers and decision-makers at new and existing clients. 

You will be part of the sales cycle, including qualification, sales pursuit and close by applying sales process and technical expertise.

Responsibilities

Define and implement the data and AI roadmap, architecture, and governance for the organization.

Manage and mentor the data and AI teams, including data engineers, data scientists, data analysts, and AI engineers.

Collaborate with senior leadership, business stakeholders, and customers to identify and prioritize data and AI opportunities and solutions.

Establish and monitor data and AI quality, security, privacy, and compliance standards and policies.

Drive the adoption and integration of data and AI solutions across the organization.

Stay abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in data and AI.

Communicate and evangelize the value and impact of data and AI to internal and external audiences.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients, understanding their needs and challenges and providing them with innovative and tailored solutions in data & AI. 

Direct responsibility for the Data&AI pipeline, as well as for the key indicators for the area (sales, revenue, profitability, etc.). 

Lead and oversee the delivery of data & AI projects, ensuring high quality, timely, and cost-effective results. 

Represent and promote the company in the data & AI community, participating and speaking in relevant events, conferences, and social media platforms. 

Collaborate with other business units in Bip to deliver top quality solutions to the client.

Stay updated on the latest developments and trends in data & AI, especially in the Microsoft platform, Azure cloud, and Microsoft data and analytics tools. 

Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships in data & AI, leveraging your network and expertise. 

What skills should you have?

Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, or related field.

At least 10 years of experience in data and AI, with at least 5 years of leadership or management experience.

Proven track record of delivering data and AI solutions that drive business value and customer satisfaction.

Strong knowledge and experience in data and AI technologies, tools, and platforms, such as cloud computing, big data, data warehousing, data engineering, data science, machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, etc. 

Strong knowledge and experience in Microsoft platform, Azure cloud, and Microsoft data and analytics tools, such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Machine Learning, Azure Cognitive Services, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, etc. 

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex data and AI concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to balance trade-offs and risks.

Strong leadership, team-building, and collaboration skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and empower data and AI teams and stakeholders.

High ethical standards and integrity, with the ability to ensure ethical and responsible use of data and AI.
