The Role: We are looking for a dynamic Operations Associate to work at Tabby and spearhead all finance operations initiatives and roles for the financial services department.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and clearing outstanding payments, invoices, and all other finance tasks related to merchants and outsourced contractors. This exceptional opportunity is ideal for a junior with a background in a numerical degree and previous roles in finance teams.
Key Responsibilities
Finance:
- Assisting the finance team with all collections efforts, including but not limited to generating or modifying invoices, following up with merchants, reconciling for discrepancies
- Maintaining all finance operations and commitments to vendors such as VISA, payment processors, KYC providers, etc. This will include filling out reimbursement forms, reconciling invoices received, pushing payments, etc.
- Streamlining and improving the payment collection process
Operations:
- Onboarding Tabby card merchants on Backoffice
- Troubleshooting when issues with merchants arise
- Reconciliation and operations work for Tabby Advance
- Coordinating with Business Development and Finance teams on gathering complete merchant data
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting or a related technical field
- Strong analytical and data capabilities
- Excel and Google Sheets proficiency is a must-have
- 0-2 years of working experience, preferably in finance or collections teams
- Experience working with dashboarding tools like Tableau is preferred
- A proven track record of effectively working with multiple teams is a plus.
- Fluent in spoken and written English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
